March is almost over and April is nearly here. St. Patrick’s Day is in the past and Cinco de Mayo is in the future — more on that later. More importantly, Ohio State is now well into spring football, working its way through the 15 permitted spring practices before the spring game scheduled for April 17. The Buckeyes are continuing to put in work at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, but it’s not just the current players who will be working this week. The Scarlet and Gray will also host the team’s pro day for the recently departed, draft-eligible players on Tuesday. While the pro day is always important, as NFL teams flock to the WHAC to see the former Ohio State stars work out, it is even more so this year with no NFL Combine and workouts limited due to COVID-19.
