COLUMBUS, Ohio — Justin Fields rolled out to his left, twisted his body slightly to set himself, then launched the ball around 70 yards in the air to hit C.J. Saunders in the corner of the end zone. Ohio State football’s Heisman Trophy finalist quarterback later called it the best throw of his performance at the Buckeyes’ Pro Day at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center on Tuesday.
