CLEVELAND, Ohio – As he enjoys a tropical paradise while vacationing with his family in Miami, Damari Alston is eagerly looking forward to another trip that he’s been wanting to take for a long time. That destination has no palm trees and no beaches. It does, however, have a handful of Ohio State football commits who are excited for the opportunity to give Alston in a brief glimpse into the Buckeye culture at the commit-led Buckeye Bash 2.0 in Columbus, which is tentatively scheduled for June 4-6. The event would be a sequel to Jack Sawyer’s inaugural gathering that brought together a group of 2021 commits and prospects last October in the midst of the pandemic and dead period.
