COLUMBUS, Ohio — Paris Johnson assumed Ohio State football would have an opening at left tackle by his sophomore season. After the national championship game, the Buckeyes’ starting left tackle, Thayer Munford, confided in Johnson that he might not be ready to vacate his post. The NCAA decided no fall athletes would accrue eligibility last season. Munford could put off the NFL Draft and come back for a “Super Senior” season.
