Buckeye fans celebrate opportunity to attend Spring Game in-person

COLUMBUS (WCMH) – Many Buckeye Football fans are celebrating the opportunity to watch the team play in-person. This week, the Ohio State University announced it’s allowing up to 19,180 people inside Ohio Stadium on April 17 for the Spring Game. “Students, everyone, all the fans want to be in the stadium. So it’s exciting,” said Buckeye fan Gabe Edwards. Ohio State to allow 19,180 fans at Spring Game on April 17 Julia Lombardo, an OSU sophomore who admits she is not a football herself added, “If there are people excited about sports on campus, everyone’s going to feed off that energy I believe. So it’ll be good, I think.” The annual contest is the first in more than a year at the university allowing public spectators.
