COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s 2022 recruiting class has added a fourth player rated as a five-star recruit and it didn’t have to land a commit to do so. No player saw a bigger jump in the updated 247Sports Composite rankings than linebacker C.J. Hicks of Archbishop High School. The Ohio native and self-proclaimed leader of the class jumped up from No. 41 to No. 18 and still sits as the second-best outside linebacker in the country. This ranking has been a long-time coming for Hicks who at 6-foot-4, 218 pounds may be the epitome of what the Buckeyes are looking for in its linebackers. He has the versatility to play in the box, cover tight ends and even play a little bit of safety if needed. His role when he gets to Columbus may get a chance to be on display this season by way of Craig Young.…
