COLUMBUS, Ohio — Larry Johnson did not build an edge rushing empire at Ohio State by flipping out over every next big thing. The veteran defensive line coach is not ready to anoint freshman Jack Sawyer as an impact player for 2021. Even when talking about a player ranked No. 4 nationally in his signing class, Johnson emphasizes the process. “The thing I like about Jack is, he’s a fierce competitor,” Johnson said. “He hates to lose. He wants to win every rep, and I love that about him. “I think he’s gonna be a special player down the road.
