The Ohio State basketball season came to an abrupt end with a thud heard around the college basketball universe. The Buckeyes became just the ninth No. 2 seed in the history of the NCAA Tournament to lose to a No. 15 seed. This, after it looked like the Buckeyes were finishing with a strong kick by making a run to the Big Ten championship game. And, now that the season has finished with Baylor cutting down the nets, we’re starting to get some future odds for teams expected to be in contention next season. OSU has a significant amount of talent coming back as long as both Duane Washington and E.J. Liddell put off dreams of grandeur in the NBA and come back to Columbus for another season. The Buckeyes should be able to build on what occurred this year and are getting a lot of attention in all the way-too-early predictions…
