COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s TreVeyon Henderson has joined Jack Sawyer and Marvin Harrison Jr. as freshmen to lose their black stripes this spring. Henderson came to Columbus as the nation’s No. 1 running back and No. 22 player in the 2022 recruiting class with expectations that he could start from Day One. By getting rid of the black stripe and “officially” becoming a Buckeyes, he one step closer to making that happen. “First I want to thank God and I want to thank everybody for pushing me and getting me better,” Henderson said in his speech while Marcus Crowley took off his stripe. “I’m excited to be a Buckeye and I’m excited to be a part of this program.
