The Basketball Tournament is headed back to Columbus, Ohio for the summer of 2021 and will be held on the campus of Ohio State University. The TBT announced on Wednesday its format and locations for this year’s event and Columbus will host games during the tournament’s second weekend from July 23-27. This is a change from last year’s TBT that was played entirely at a single venue — Columbus’ Nationwide Arena — in a “bubble” due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The TBT was actually the first professional sporting event to crown a champion after the start of the pandemic, moving its traditional format of having games at host cities across the country.
