CB Ryan Turner nearing commitment after self-guided visits: Buckeyes Recruiting Roundup


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State could be nearing its 12th 2022 football commitment and third at the cornerback position. Over the last month, Ryan Turner of Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Florida has looked more like a tourist rather than a standout junior cornerback. Turner, the No. 35 cornerback nationally, has made the trek from his home in Hollywood, Florida — which is 23 miles north of Miami — across the Midwest and Northeast in search of his college home. Over the last three weekends, Turner has taken self-guided visits at Ohio State, Clemson and Boston College. The three schools, along with Penn State, are at the top of his 32 offers. From March 25-28, Turner walked the Columbus streets and the OSU campus.
