COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State closed out its 15-practice spring session with the Spring Game, giving fans their first chance to see the 2021 roster. The quarterback battle between Kyle McCord, Jack Miller and C.J. Stroud was obviously the No. 1 topic of the day. Stroud has been perceived to have all the momentum to be Justin Fields’ successor ever since he walked on campus. Nothing seemed to change that on Saturday. What is clear that whoever wins the job will have plenty of talent around him on offense. The wide receivers showed off their explosiveness, the offensive line’s depth was on display and there are options at running back. The same can be said on the defense, where young players showed promise. The secondary was the weak link of the 2020 roster.
