Kiyaunta Goodwin, 2022 Ohio State football 4-star OT target, commits to Kentucky: Buckeyes Recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s 2022 offensive line target Kiyaunta Goodwin of Charlestown High School in Indiana has committed to Kentucky. The four-star recruit, rated as the No. 54 player and No. 7 offensive tackle in the country, chose the Trojans over the Buckeyes, Alabama, Clemson and Michigan State. Goodwin is the third player from the 2022 recruiting class to spend a substantial amount of time predicted to be a Buckeye before choosing to stay closer to home. He goes to school in Indiana but is originally a native of Louisville, Kentucky. He joins cornerback Domani Jackson (USC) and wide receiver Amani Winfield (Texas) as former OSU targets. Ohio State eventually found commitments at those positions of potentially equal or higher caliber, and the same could end up being true at tackle.
