Analyzing Ohio State football’s quarterbacks Kyle McCord, Jack Miller and C.J. Stroud in the Spring Game

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s quarterbacks have all finally thrown an in-game pass inside Ohio Stadium, even if it was just the Spring Game. Their stat lines are as follows: • C.J. Stroud: 16 of 22, 185 yards and two touchdowns; • Kyle McCord: 12 of 17, 184 yards and one touchdown; and • Jack Miller: 17 of 30, 128 yards and one interception. From the outside looking in, Stroud seemed to have the inside track at starting and his performance confirmed that opinion. Ryan Day and the coaching staff aren’t going to name a starter, as this battle heads into the summer. Best case scenario: All three are still on the roster when fall camp opens up in August.
