COLUMBUS, Ohio — Quinn Ewers is headed to California as he will look to continue a growing tradition of quarterbacks to come to the Ohio State football program after excelling at the Elite 11 competition. The five-star quarterback and No. 1 player in the Class of 2022 was the sixth player to earn an invite after putting together a quality performance during the Elite 11?s fourth stop on the regional tour in Dallas. The remaining stops are Philadelphia, Indianapolis, Nashville and Los Angeles. There have been five future Buckeyes who have attended the competition and earned the honor of Elite 11 status, with the most recent being current freshman Kyle McCord last summer. Two of those players have won MVP honors in Justin Fields and C.J. Stroud.
