Ohio State is adding another member to its staff. The Buckeyes will add former NFL linebacker Ricky Brown as a special teams quality control coach. Although the Scarlet and Gray are yet to officially announce the hiring, Brown posted that he was “fired up” to be joining Ryan Day’s staff at Ohio State on his personal Twitter account and that he will help Parker Fleming and Zach Woodke with special teams. Brown is already listed in the Ohio State University directory as a football employee with the title “Quality Control – Kicking.” Fleming, who was promoted to special teams coordinator this offseason, filling the role vacated by Matt Barnes, now the Buckeyes’ secondary coach, previously held this position of special teams quality control coach.
