Former Ohio State running back Trey Sermon has signed a deal with Nike just a couple of days before his name ultimately gets called in the 2021 NFL draft. The announcement came via Twitter from his sports agency, Element Sports Group. No official conditions are known, or likely will be known, but it appears to be a multi-year deal according to the announcement. Sermon joins Buckeye quarterback Justin Fields in the endorsement landscape. Fields signed a deal with C4 Energy Drink just last week. There have been no other Ohio State players confirmed as signing any sort of deal with the foot and sports apparel behemoth.
