The Green Bay Packers watched idly as All-Pro center Corey Linsley left in free agency last month, so general manager Brian Gutekunst used a second-round pick to acquire his replacement. There’s some obvious symmetry to the Packers taking Ohio State center Josh Myers at No. 62 overall on Friday night. It comes seven years after the Packers drafted Linsley, another Buckeyes center who went on to be an instant and long-time starter for the Green Bay offensive line in 2014. Myers was a two-year starter at center in Columbus but the Packers believe he has the versatility to play both in the middle and at guard.
