Ohio State football’s Tuf Borland reaches agreement with Minnesota Vikings as undrafted free agent


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Tuf Borland reached an agreement with the Minnesota Vikings after not being selected in the 2021 NFL Draft, a source confirmed to cleveland.com. Borland was a three-time captain and four-year starter for the Buckeyes at Mike linebacker. That included a career interrupted by an Achilles tear in the spring after his freshman season. Borland started 31 of his 49 games. In 2020, Borland posted 48 tackles with 3.5 for loss and 1.5 sacks in seven games. He played a central role in back-to-back playoff defenses, including a 2019 unit that led the nation in total defense.
