
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Three-star defensive back Ryan Turner of Chaminade-Madonna Prep High School in Florida has committed to the Ohio State football program for the 2022 recruiting class. Turner is rated as the No. 380 overall player and No. 34 cornerback and chose the Buckeyes over 26 other schools including Boston College, Clemson and Penn State. The decision comes a few weeks after he took a self-guided visit to Columbus in April. Adding Turner gives OSU’s 2022 class three cornerbacks alongside five-star Jaheim Singletary and four-star Jyaire Brown. It also continues a recent run of recruiting success the program has had in recruiting defensive backs out of Florida. Singletary was the first to come along in January followed by Kye Stoke who committed on Sunday. Stoke’s commitment came just a week after earning an offer.
