Sunday was a day of celebration for a number of Buckeyes. Ohio Stadium hosted two separate spring commencement ceremonies to help celebrate a total of 12,345 students receiving their degrees. Included in those that gathered at the Horseshoe for the first celebration of its kind since 2019 were 10 current or former members of Ohio State’s football team — cornerback Bradley Roby, wide receiver Ellijah Gardiner, defensive tackle Zaid Hamdan, receiver/defensive back Demario McCall, long snapper Bradley Robinson, tight end Mitch Rossi, linebackers Ben Schmiesing and Trayvon Wilburn and offensive linemen Gavin Cupp and Max Wray — as well as two from the Buckeye men’s basketball team in guards Jansen Davidson and Abel Porter. As part of the commencement celebration, head football coach Ryan Day released a message to the graduates on social media.
