The winner of that competition may immediately become the front-runner for the title of the Big Ten’s best quarterback. Buckeyes have won the league’s Griese-Brees Award five straight years and in eight of its 10 years of existence. Ohio State’s 2021 quarterback project already carried an unprecedented air. Teams with national championship aspirations do not go into a season with an entire quarterback room that has combined for zero college pass attempts.
