One of the best (and worst) feelings as a sports fan is the stress throughout the day leading up to a big game. Well, FOX has decided to not give Ducks fans that for its marquee road game at Ohio State on September 11th, instead opting for a 9:00 a.m. PT kickoff so it aligns with the program’s “Big Noon” initiative. But don’t worry! FOX has decided to play one of MLB’s 2,430 regular season baseball games in primetime instead, which will almost surely lose a ratings battle against likely primetime broadcasts of Washington at Michigan or Stanford at USC. Rather than allow the whole country to watch the Ducks and Buckeyes go at each other in primetime, college kids in Eugene may sleep through the game entirely.
