
COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State football program is gearing up for a big-time June as the end of the recruiting dead period nears. The Buckeyes will host north of 40 players on official visits next month, along with dozens of others on unofficial visits and day camps. A run of commits could follow that will help continue building the 2022 class while setting the foundation in 2023. The next two weeks is the quiet before the storm. OSU hasn’t been completely quiet in May. The program began the month by adding defensive back Ryan Turner and Kye Stokes as two more recruiting wins in Florida. Most of the remaining targets in that class are well-known, but if the quick turnaround of Stokes’ commitment taught us anything, it’s that there’s always room for new players to emerge, even top-100 commits with all the momentum pointed toward another Big Ten school.…
