The Ohio State men’s golf team shot an even-par 288 on the final day of the NCAA regional tournament in Tallahassee, Florida, falling two strokes shy of a spot in the NCAA championships. The Buckeyes finished the three-day event at 7-under, two behind fifth-place TCU. Florida State won the regional at -34, followed by Georgia at -17, Georgia Tech at -16, Liberty at -15. TCU shot a 6-under 282 on Wednesday to finish at -9 and surpass the Buckeyes for the final spot. The top five teams advance to the NCAA championships, to be held May 28-June 2 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Maxwell Moldovan was the low OSU player Wednesday with a 71. He was followed by Jackson Chandler and Elis Svard at 72, Adam Wallin at 73 and Felix Kvarnstrom at 78.
