
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Four-star offensive lineman Jaylen Early’s versatility has made him one of the most intriguing targets in the class of 2022 for Ohio State football. Early (6-4, 290 pounds) is a junior at Duncanville (Texas) High School and a fringe top-200 prospect in 2022. He is considered the No. 9 guard in this year’s class, but his college position is open to some debate. As a sophomore, Early was a first team all-district selection at left tackle, which contributed to earning 27 offers before his junior season. Last season, Early shuffled across the offensive line. For the majority of the season, Early slotted in at right guard. Then, for three games, he started at left guard.
