Oregon Ducks agree to future series with Ohio State Buckeyes in 2032-33


The Buckeyes are paying it forward. Oregon’s marquee 2020 home game against Ohio State was canceled, but the two schools have agreed on a resolution to the home-and-home series that was interrupted by the pandemic. Ohio State will pay Oregon $3.5 million for this season’s Sept. 11 game in Columbus, Ohio (9 a.m., FOX). Oregon and Ohio State also agreed to another home-and-home series in 2032 (Eugene) and 2033 (Columbus). “If things are back to some level of normal, we know the Oregon game will be packed,” Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith told Eleven Warriors, the first to report the news of the agreement Thursday. “It will be a great game, and revenue-wise it would be exceptional and help us with our deficit.
