Ohio State officially announces Tony Skinn as new assistant coach

Ohio State has officially announced Tony Skinn as the newest assistant coach for the men’s basketball program. Skinn, who spent the last three seasons at Seton Hall, emerged from a crowded field of contenders to replace Terry Johnson, who left the Buckeyes for an assistant job at Purdue earlier this spring. “We are really excited about the addition of Tony Skinn as an assistant coach,” Ohio State coach Chris Holtmann said in a statement. “Tony comes highly recommended from every level – NBA, college, AAU and high school. Tony was an outstanding player on a Final Four team, and as a professional.
