Other than Ohio State’s coaching staff no one gets more credit for the Buckeyes’ recruiting success than assistant athletic director Mark Pantoni. And while Pantoni certainly deserves all the praise that comes his way as he is the first point of contact between high school prospects and the Scarlet and Gray, his staff is equally important. That staff has undergone some transition of late, including the departure of director of on-campus recruiting Tori Magers. Pantoni and Ohio State acted quickly though, hiring Erin Dunston to fill that role in March. “Erin’s been a rock star, coming in right away,” Pantoni said of Dunston on Friday. “She’s been great, and we haven’t lost a step with her.
