Ohio State football season tickets go on sale with hope for full capacity and a push for vaccinations


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football announced Tuesday that season ticket renewals and new buyer deposits are being accepted. The most important part of the news release, however, is athletic director Gene Smith’s continued informed optimism that Ohio Stadium will be at full capacity for the 2021 season. The Big Ten limited all teams to attendance by family of players, coaches and staff in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Per an Ohio Public Health Order issued in April, teams are currently required to maintain six feet of distance between groups of spectators, which can be no larger than 10 people.
