COLUMBUS, Ohio — For the first time in nearly two years, Gabe Powers found himself back in a Buckeyes uniform posing for the camera. The feeling was just as sweet the second time around. Powers, a four-star 2022 linebacker commit out of Marysville, Ohio, joined fellow linebacker and five-star commit CJ Hicks for a quick unofficial visit on campus Tuesday, the first day of the new quiet period. The tandem was the first pair of 2022 commits to get on campus for the new recruiting period. Both will take part in the massive Buckeye Bash 2.0 recruiting event, which will be taking place Friday through Sunday.
