
COLUMBUS, Ohio — As soon as the recruiting dead period was lifted on June 1, Kayin Lee set out on a mission. Lee, a 4-star 2023 cornerback from Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Ga., arrived at Ohio State on that day with the intention of earning an offer from the football program. All he needed was a chance. “I took it seriously the whole time,” Lee told cleveland.com. “I knew why I was there and what I came for. I knew I was going to earn that offer. It was about doing all of the right things and staying calm. Believing in my confidence because that is everything.” Lee (5-11, 174.5 pounds) took his chance and ran with it.
