The offseason included only one coaching change in the conference. When Illinois fired Lovie Smith, it hired former Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema — hardly a stranger to the Big Ten. How rare is that lack of turnover? In nine of the last 11 years there have been two or more coaching changes in the Big Ten.
