If Ohio State weren’t known as a football school, there’s a good chance it would be known as a basketball school. The Buckeyes are one Big Ten championship shy of the most in the league, are tied with Michigan State for the most Final Fours of any other Big Ten program, have a national championship to its credit, and have a slew of all-time All-Americans to shake a stick at. However, there’s no overlooking the fact that there have been some deep valleys as much as some ascents to the mountain top. The consistency has been somewhat mind-boggling when you look at the facilities, fertile recruiting ground, and more. So much so that when you look at the Buckeyes head-to-head record against other teams in the Big Ten, there is some work to do there in some cases.
