
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Quinn Ewers clearly enjoyed his time on his Ohio State football official visit last week because he’s back again a week later. “Got homesick,” the Buckeyes’ top-rated 2022 quarterback stated on Twitter with his location set in Columbus. Ewers was among the 17 players who attended the Buckeyes Bash 2.0 — eight of which were commits — for his first time on campus in over two years. This time he comes for an unofficial visit alongside his Southlake Carroll High School teammate Landon Samson, a three-star wide receiver in the 2022 recruiting class. Sampson is the nation’s No. 768 player, No. 99 wide receiver and Ewers’ go-to target at the Texas high school. He’s started hearing from the Buckeyes over the past month a though it’s doubtful he ends up a Buckeye. He holds offers from 18 schools and is favored to Nebraska.
