Clemons, who competed as a Christina Manning when she raced at OSU, finished in the top three in the 100-meter hurdles at the U.S. Olympic track and field trials in Eugene, Ore., holding off the fourth-place finisher by five-thousands of a second. Clemons’ time of 12.521 seconds placed her behind Keni Harrison (12.47) and Brianna McNeal (12.51), but ahead of Gabbi Cunningham (12.526) in a photo finish. In 2012, Clemons graduated from Ohio State with a degree in criminology and with three school records that still stand — the 60-meter dash (7.23), 60-meter hurdles (7.91) and the 100-meter hurdles (12.68).
