Such is the case for four-star running back Dallan Hayden of Christian Brothers High School in Tennessee, as he committed to Ohio State Tuesday afternoon on his 18th birthday. He becomes the No. 14 verbal commitment for the Buckeyes’ top-ranked 2022 class. Hayden, listed as the nation’s No. 237 overall prospect and No. 24 running back, according to the 247sports.com composite, chose the Buckeyes over Notre Dame, Tennessee and Illinois.
