The Ohio State Buckeyes have been making moves as far as the running backs in the class of 2022 go and on the same day that the Buckeyes gained the commitment of Dallan Hayden another star running back in Gavin Sawchuk made a commitment of his own. Sawchuk is currently ranked as the No. 2 running back in the 2022 class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, and he had his schools narrowed down to Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and USC. Early on Tuesday, the young high school star from Colorado committed to the Sooners instead of the Buckeyes. It is not shocking for a kid coming out of Colorado to pick Oklahoma over Ohio State — and as discussed earlier — the Buckeyes are in good hands with their current crop of young runners.
