
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Let the Master Teague comparisons begin for new Ohio State football 2022 running back commit Dallan Hayden. Not the physical comparisons, at least not yet. At 5-11, 195 pounds, Hayden is certainly a solidly built specimen. Teague’s physique borders on freakish, though, and falling short of that standard right now is no failure for Hayden. In many other ways, though, the Memphis Christian Brothers back who committed on Tuesday could slot in nicely as the Teague-like prospect the Buckeyes needed in 2022. Teague is also from Tennessee. The Volunteers were believed to be either OSU’s primary competition for Hayden or one of the leaders. While that program continues to try to smolder following the Jeremy Pruitt tenure, OSU can do as it has done elsewhere — take advantage of a low point at an historically powerful program.
