Facebook | Twitter | Instagram COLUMBUS, Ohio – Rachel DeWitte, Leonie Heuer and Jessy Vermeer were named 2021 College Rowing Coaches Association Pocock All-America Thursday. DeWitte, a senior from Duluth, Minnesota, was named a 2021 First Team All-America while Heuer, a senior from Leer, Germany, and Vermeer, a junior from Amsterdam, earned second team honors. Back for another season in 2022, DeWitte was recently recognized for academic achievements as well, earning Ohio State Scholar Athlete, Academic All-Big Ten and league Distinguished Scholar honors in 2021. She competed in all 11 1V8 races for the Buckeyes last year. The boat finished No. 7 nationally at the 2021 NCAA Championships. Heuer, a recent Ohio State graduate, also earned Ohio State Scholar Athlete, Academic All-Big Ten and league Distinguished Scholar honors in 2021.
