The coronavirus caused NCAA dead period extension finally ended on June 1 and a huge month of recruiting followed. The Ohio State staff worked through that dead period to the tune of 12 early class of 2022 commitments. That number is now up to 17 Buckeye commitments. It is an Ohio State 2022 recruiting class that is easily ranked No. 1 in the country in the 247Sports Composite team recruiting rankings.
