Still bound together, former Buckeyes JaQuan Lyle, A.J. Harris share ties to Central Ohio

Perenic, THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH JaQuan Lyle, here playing for Ohio State in 2016, transferred to New Mexico and then played professionally in Greece. And yet, both JaQuan Lyle and A.J. Harris, two-fifths of the ill-fated 2015 Ohio State men’s basketball freshman class, maintain a bond both with each other and with central Ohio that has outlasted their time as Buckeyes. Both Harris, who transferred to New Mexico State after one season, and Lyle, who transferred to New Mexico, are participants in this year’s Kingdom Summer League that takes place each Sunday at Ohio Dominican University. “It’s not weird at all,” Harris said with a smile.
