Three 2023 offensive line targets eye visits to OSU to close out July: Buckeyes Recruiting Roundup


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s football program is quite familiar with recruiting Florida. But when it comes to Florida offensive linemen, commitments have been few and far between. Of the 22 players the Buckeyes have signed from Florida since 2012, only two were offensive linemen. Since arriving in 2016, OL coach Greg Studrawa has only locked down one commit — albeit a good one in Nicholas Petit-Frere — from the Sunshine State. As Studrawa aims to finalize his 2022 OL class — which lacks a Florida commit after losing out on Tyler Booker from IMG Academy — he has an opportunity to make a lasting impression on a trio of 2023 Floridians. Next week, Payton Kirkland (Orlando), T.J. Shanahan (Orlando) and Clay Wedin (Tampa) expect to make unofficial OSU visits.
