The Buckeyes have lost one of their top 2022 commitments as cornerback Jaheim Singletary from Jacksonville (Fla.) Lee has announced he has decommitted from Ohio State. Singletary had been committed to Ohio State since Jan. 2. Singletary posted the news on his Twitter account on Sunday evening. The 6-foot-1 and 170-pound Singletary has a list of scholarship offers that in addition to Ohio State includes Georgia, Florida, Clemson, LSU, Auburn, Florida State, Miami, USC, Michigan, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Texas A&M and others. There have long been rumors that Singletary could decommit, but when he made his official visit with the Buckeyes the weekend of June 25-27 things seemed to cool a bit on that front. But nonetheless, Singletary is no longer committed to the Buckeyes. However, Singletary visited Georgia and then visited Miami over this weekend.
