It’s that time of year again when football fans are itching for… well, football. Both the college game and the NFL are still over a month away from kicking off and, after a long offseason, every fan is dying for football. But fear not, we have some football for you, although it is virtual. This week, EA Sports began releasing rankings for players in its always popular NFL video game, Madden 22, which will officially hit shelves on Aug. 20. While this doesn’t exactly cure the need for football, it is something to get excited about until the real players hit the field. And while fans still wait for EA Sports to bring back a college football game (new NIL rules certainly seem like we’re getting closer), at least the former college players will be available as pros.
