
COLUMBUS, Ohio — After spending a week mulling over his options, Quinn Ewers has decided to become an Ohio State football player six months earlier than expected as first reported by On3?s Justin Wells. The nation’s No. 1 player had reportedly been thinking about skipping his senior season at Southlake Carroll High School to take advantage of the new Name, Image and Likeness rules. Now instead of being part of what is expected to be a sizeable early enrollee group that would arrive in January, he’ll make his way to Columbus over the next few weeks. The Buckeyes enter fall camp in the midst of a three-man competition for the starting quarterback job. Jack Miller and C.J. Stroud are second-year players.
