He eventually won the Heisman Trophy, a national championship and was selected No. 1 overall in the NFL Draft. Before he left OSU, Burrow competed with Dwayne Haskins for the starting job. In the end, an offseason injury and Haskins’ edge in experience were enough to prevent him from becoming QB1.
