COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State football program has again dived into the Sunshine State’s top-ranked program to extend its seventh offer in the 2024 class, and its first running back offer for that class. Four-star RB Stacy Gage of 2020 national champion IMG Academy became the latest Ascender to earn an offer from the Buckeyes. He posted the news on his Twitter account Saturday afternoon. Gage is listed as the No. 2 running back and the No. 41 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to 247sports.com. He does not yet have a 247sports.com composite ranking. The rising sophomore also received an offer from LSU on Saturday evening, his 23rd offer. Gage is coming off a crisp opening-night performance against American Heritage High School. The 5-foot-11, 200-pounder tallied seven carries for 150 yards and two touchdowns. He split carries with Penn State running back commit Kaytron Allen.
