
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football opens the 2021 season with an All-American on each side of the ball. Wide receiver Chris Olave and defensive tackle Haskell Garrett were voted preseason first-team All-Americans by the Associated Press. Wide receiver Garett Wilson and offensive lineman Thayer Munford were voted onto the second team. Olave totaled 729 yards and seven touchdowns on 50 receptions last season. His decision to forgo the NFL Draft — where some projected him to be a first-round pick — and return to the Buckeyes in the offseason came as a surprise. He and Wilson are expected to form one of the best receiving tandems in the country.
