COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football rose one spot to No. 3 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll, part of a big shuffle of teams in the top five. Alabama remained No. 1 and received 59 of 63 first-place votes. Georgia shot up three spots to No. 2, on the strength of its 10-3 victory over previous No. 3 Clemson. The Bulldogs received the other four No. 1 votes. Ohio State also rose following a season-opening 45-31 victory at Minnesota. However, the Buckeyes lost the lone No. 1 vote they received in the preseason poll. Next comes Oklahoma, which dropped two spots to No. 4.
